Meet Martee

Martee Burke

Martee Burke has seen off road racing from both behind the camera and the wheel of an Off Road Racecar.  With 20 years of shooting Race Photography it primarily got her close to the track, but it was ON the track she so desired to be.  After driving her first Class 2/1600 Off Road Racecar in the heat of the California Summer, she knew the camera would go back in the bag.  As part of her new found adrenaline-seeking drive, she partnered up for the 2010 M.O.R.E. season and together took 3rd in Class.

Since the beginning, she has been a part of the Annual M.O.R.E. Powder Puff Race for the Cure which is an all women racing event to raise money for Cedar Sinai Breast Cancer Research.  Seeing her in a Class 1 racecar, Class 8 race truck, and a Class 1300 racecar, she’s devoted to this cause.

Outside of Racing she can be found wearing several hats…one of which is a Pink Hard Hat!  She even has her own tools and tool belt when framing right along side her husband in his construction business.  She works full time for the local Midas Auto Service Experts as the person you want to see when you need car repair.  And when she’s not busy with all of that she’s teaching women about skin care and make-up with her own Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant business.  You see Martee is tomboy with style!

When she’s not busy working or racing you’ll find her backpacking and fishing in the High Sierras several times a year.  Hunting fowl is a time she enjoys with her bird dogs Bear & Rocket.  And big game hunting in Wyoming is where she’ll be in the fall.

She enjoys a very full life.  Often she’s heard saying Life is a gift, enjoy it everyday.  Now lets get some racing done!!!
