June brought together all of the ladies of Courage Girl! Motosports for an eventful weekend full of laughter, trucks, and strategic planning. All of the girls met at Michele’s house in Colorado. Emme was making her yearly migration from DC to CA, Martee flew out from CA, and Pepper was the superstar that brought our truck, Saving Grace, back to Colorado for some intense prep work before the next race.
This was the first time we were all together in one place, and we didn’t waste of moment as we all jumped into planning, sharing ideas, and making things happen.
First on our list was hitting the road with our truck to take part in a truck show as part of a fund raiser for our local Relay For Life team. We added 8 tributes to our truck and had a great time sharing our story with new friends.
The event wasn’t just about the trucks, it was also about fun! Click on the photo below to see some of our fun times and friends.
It was a great morning and we had a wonderful time meeting our new fans in Colorado. After all the trucks were loaded up and hauled away, the Courage Girl! team headed out with Tanner Short for our first official photo and video shoot. Tanner is producing a documentary about the 2013 Ralley Aicha des Gazelles and the Courage team. We had a great time with him, and Emme, Pepper, Martee, and Tanner fit right into Jon and Michele’s family as if everyone were lifelong friends.
Wonderful things are on the horizon, so make sure you are getting updates from our blog and that you like our Facebook Fan Page.
What’s next? We are putting together a calendar featuring women of off road racing that will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a huge public appearance in California in September, and of course we are all getting ready for the 2012 M.O.R.E. Powder Puff race. 2013 brings the Gazelle Rally, and Emme and Michele are prepping their bodies and minds for this unbelievable event. The future looks bright!
